| State head meets envoy of S.Korea president |

On June 18, the President of Mongolia Ts.Elbegdorj received Lee Sa Chol, a special envoy of South Korea's President and a member of the National Assembly. The State Head of Mongolia thanked the South Korean side for supporting Mongolia's democracy and market economy on behalf of Mongolian people. The President talked about the 20th anniversary of the diplomatic
relations between Mongolia and the Republic of Korea to take place in
2010 and expressed his satisfaction with the widening of bilateral
relations and cooperation in all spheres. He hopes South Korea's President Lee Myung-bak will pay a visit to Mongolia soon, and expressed a willingness to forward the bilateral collaboration. Mr Chol sincerely congratulated Ts.Elbegdorj for becoming the new President of Mongolia. He hoped that the new President of Mongolia will widen the bilateral ties and then granted a letter of the South Korean President to Ts.Elbegdorj. Present at the meeting were D.Dorligjav, head of the President Office; B.Bolor, Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs; Ts.Sukhbaatar, an advisor to the President on Foreign Policy; and B.Ganbold, director of the Asia Department of Ministry of External Relations of Mongolia.
