Neither the Mongolbank nor the Parliament Office has so far issued any public statement about the letter of resignation the President of the country’s Central bank, A.Batsukh, is believed to have submitted to Parliament on December 31, but a Mongolian newspaper, Undesnii Shuudan, has quoted him as saying that he decided on the step “to maintain the dignity of his office”.
