No action has yet been taken against Governor of Bayangol District L.Amgalan, Governor of Dornod province Ts.Janlav, and D.Purevsuren of the General Customs Authority for giving false information about their assets to Anti-Corruption inspectors. The Anti-Corruption Authority has asked related organizations and even the Prime Minister to take action but nothing has been done as there is no clarity on what the punishment should be.

The Durgun,and Taishir hydroelectric plants were built to provide much-needed electricity to regions far from the central power network, but the WWF head in Mongolia, D.Chimed-Osor, has blamed them on environmental grounds, saying the plants are affecting the water level in rivers and a lake.
