The 5th tourism forum of North-East Asia will take place in Ulaanbaatar on October 15-17, 2008. Mongolia is hosting this event for the first time.

The Ministry of Environment and Tourism in conjunction with the Governor Office of Ulaanbaatar will organize this forum which will gather about 240 representatives of China, Russia, Mongolia, the Republic of Korea and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea. In the course of the event, an international tourism fair "Eastern Circle" will be staged for the participants.
It is expected that three sub-meetings will be held under topics of "North-East Asia", "Cooperation with Mongolian Tourism Sector" and "Tourism Development in Tumen Region".
