The 7th Joint meeting of Mongolian-Taipei businessmen was held in Ulaanbaatar Thursday. The meeting was co-organized by the China International Economic Cooperation Association (CIECA) and Mongolia's National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MNCCI).

The attendees discussed the Mongolian-Taipei trade and economic situation, investments and mutually beneficial collaboration opportunities.
The MNCCI Chairman S.Demberel spoke about Mongolia's economic situation. He requested the Taipei delegates to invest in Mongolia's small- and medium-sized enterprises (SME) and share experiences with related people, and added that intends to visit Taiwan in November 2008 to become au fait with development of local SME.
A chairman of the Mongolia Committee of the CIECA Yuen-Chuan Chao stressed that Taiwan wants to enter a list of top ten importers of Mongolia.
 The two sides also agreed that if direct flights start between Mongolia and Taiwan, the cooperation will boost.
