Ceremony of ‘Entrepreneur 2008’ has been announcing best entrepreneurs for 12 years running. This year the National Chamber of Commerce and Industry has given the ‘Best Entrepreneur’ award to Golomt bank, leader of the banking industry for their excellent service for customers and investors.

Golomt bank is also well known for its good reputation - working under the law, following the policies given by the Bank of Mongolia and improved efficiency of their enthusiastic workers and staff.
This year Golomt bank has managed to create EMV chip card and American express card service in Mongolia. The year 2008 has been a great success for Golomt bank as they improved their relationships with American Express Corporation, International IATA Corporation, Credit Suisse bank and Bank of China
The National Chamber of Commerce and Industry also awarded Erdenet carpet SHC for the best exporter of the year. Due to large amount of research and investment export of Erdenet carpet has risen by 40% if compared to last year. They are now exporting carpets and souvenirs to 14 countries including: Russia, China, Kazakhstan, Australia, Spain, England, Germany, USA and Japan. 161.1 thousand Meter square of carpet was exported by Erdenet carpet this year alone.
