Price of construction materials up sharply Print E-mail
barilgiin_mat.jpeg        Prices of all kinds of construction material have risen sharply, adding to the woes of the construction sector. Building timber that cost MNT9,000-13,000 in April has gone up to MNT15,000-18,000. Chinese bricks sell for MNT220 and Mongolian bricks MNT250 a piece.
Traders in Tsaiz Market which sells construction material are pleased with the price rise in a sluggish market. The sector as a whole is waiting for the passage of the Ipotec Law which is expected to ease its financial problems.
