Training for economic journalists Print E-mail
      A regular training session began Tuesday for journalists reporting on the economy in the Press Institute's media center.  This training is co-organized by this Institute, the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), the Economic Policy Reform and Competitiveness Project (EPRCP) and the Business Management Development center. Among the attendees are the USAID officials; David Lawrence, the director of International Corporation of the EPRCP; J.Unenbat, a former president of the Mongol Bank and the director of the Development Center of Governance of companies; and D.Dugerjav, the deputy head of the Financial Regulatory Commission (FRC).


During the training session, reports will be given on management principles, legal environment of investments, economic depression/ growth, corruption, and bribery. All these will be explained using Mongolia’s largest companies as examples. In addition, Mongolian and foreign experts will give information on conflicts of interest between business investors, share holders and managers, on developing the international governance of companies.
