Polo Resources Ltd on Monday said it had found coal at its Val exploration project in Mongolia. This is the second significant discovery to be recently reported at its South Gobi site.

Company officials said the discovery indicated the presence of multi-layered coal seams.
Drilling samples found coal seams ranging from 4 meters to 19 meters in width, making this a significant coal deposit.
Polo Resources shares closed in London at 4.125 pence on Friday.
