Bayar hopes Chinese Prime Minister will come for anniversary ceremony

At their meeting yesterday Prime Minister S.Bayar thanked Ziang Xu Sheng, deputy chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress in China, for attending the inauguration ceremony of President Elbegdorj and expressed happiness that relations between the two countries are improving in all fields. Bayar hoped that Chinese Prime Minister Wen Jiabao would visit Mongolia to attend the celebrations to mark the 60th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

Ziang Xu Sheng thanked S.Bayar and passed on greetings from Wen Jiabao, stressing the importance of implementing the agreements signed during the last visit of Bayar to China. Among the important areas of cooperation are roads and infrastructure and Bayar suggested that the Chinese Minister for Transportation be included in the Chinese delegation to the anniversary ceremony. Both sides also agreed to work for quicker progress on the energy complex in Shivee Ovoo.
