At Wednesday's regular meeting, the Minister of Foreign Affairs S.Oyun was entrusted to approve four posts for the Mongolian Embassy in Australia and to reflect salaries of the Embassy's staff in the state budget of this year. Three diplomats and a technician will work in the Embassy. The Foreign Policy Advisor to the Prime Minister Ts.Jambaldorj has been appointed as the Ambassador to Australia. The Embassy is planned to be opened in Canberra by this month.
Mongolia established diplomatic relations with Australia in 1972. An issue on opening the Embassy was solved by the Parliament in February.
