Hanseo University of the Republic of Korea has honored a former President of Mongolia Natsagiin Bagabandi with its doctor title.

The university's academic council decided to do so in recognition of N.Bagabandi's significant contribution to strengthening the democracy in Mongolia, developing its economy and to relations and collaboration between Mongolia and S.Korea. At news conference held after the above ceremony, the former President gave a speech to teachers, scholars and students of the University, and held a free talk afterwards. Besides, a tree planting ceremony named after N.Bagabandi has run.
Almost 20 Mongolians so far graduated from the Hanseo University. It has 52 departments such humanitarian, society, engineering, culture and arts and others.
