President meets Chinese senior official

President of Mongolia Tsakhia Elbegdorj has received He Guoqiang, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and secretary of the CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection. At the meeting in Ulaanbaatar, Mr. Elbegdorj said that he attaches much importance to a visit by He Guoqiang to Mongolia. "The bilateral relations and cooperation have been deeply promising in all aspects. We have great possibilities to co-operate in mineral resources and infrastructure sectors especially in processing mining products to produce final products" the Mongolian President said. "Mongolia supports China's initiative to organize a North Eastern Asian Countries Summit on Climate Change. Mongolia will maintain traditional foreign policy in relation with China" he noted.

Mr. He Guoqiang emphasized the importance of regularizing mutual top-ranking visits between the two countries. Mr. He Guoqiang recognized enhanced cooperation as a way of increasing investment in infrastructure and mining sectors, and exchanging views on international and regional matters. Mr. He Guoqiang offered to cooperate in ensuring peace and stability in North-East Asia.
