Speaker meets Korean delegates

Parliamentary Speaker D.Demberel received Wednesday a visiting delegation led by a member of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea Mrs Pak Gyin He. At the meeting, Mr Demberel said the 20th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and the Republic of Korea will occur in 2010. "We plan to organize Days of Mongolia in Korea in 2010 and Days of Korea in Mongolia in 2011," he said.

The delegation said some Korean companies are cooperating with Mongolia in mineral resources sector, especially in investing Tavan Tolgoi coal deposit. She asked support from Mongolian government on this matter.
"Investment is needed to set up the largest mineral resources mine and develop infrastructure sector. Mongolia has created favorable conditions in supporting and encouraging investors. Mongolia is interested in encouraging up-to-date technology and beneficial investments," Mr Demberel emphasized.
