President of the National Council of Switzerland Mr. A.Bugnon will pay an official visit to Mongolia on October 17-20, 2008, at the invitation of Speaker of Mongolian Parliament D.Demberel.

During his visit, A.Bugnon will meet with D.Demberel and will have audience with President N.Enkhbayar to hold discussions on further prospects of the bilateral relations. He plans to visit the National University of Mongolia and "MonTeleMed" center.
Moreover, he will tour to the Bornuur soum, Tov province, to get au fait with the activities of a gold-enriching workshop that was set up within the project "Sustainable Micro Mining" financed by Switzerland, and will visit the Boroo gold mining company, one of the largest gold extracting entities in Mongolia. At the end of this countryside tour, he will be welcomed by an ordinary herder family and agrarians in Jargalant soum, Tov province.
