President of Vietnam Nguyen Minh Triet will pay a state visit to Mongolia with his spouse on October 30-31, 2008, at the invitation of President of Mongolia N.Enkhbayar.

Mr. Triet is due to work alongside Mongolia’s leaders on measures to promote the implementation of a number of high-level agreements. The Vietnamese President is accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Gia Khiem, Minister of Industry and Trade Vu Huy Hoang, Deputy Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Defence, Public Security, Planning and Investment, Sciences and Technology, Education and Training, and Agriculture and Rural Development, among other high-ranking officials.
