After 20 years since democratic system was implemented in Mongolia, citizens speak about the achievements of the Democratic Revolution. Citizen of Chingeltei district B.Odonchimeg said she thinks the democratic revolution was a right event. “People were freed from closed society. But it was not so beneficial for education sector. I’m not satisfied with the event of technical and professional schools were closed and working group became victims” said B.Odonchimeg. Citizen of Bayangol G.Uugandulam: The democratic revolution gave taste of freedom. There are many benefits such as enabling foreign travels. But I doubt the real democracy is here. Sukhbaatar district citizen S.Orgil: We have the freedom of speech. People have their own properties. These are the achievements of democracy. People’s lives are different. Some are poor, some are rich. I don’t think it was the doings of democracy. I’m grateful that democracy was established. I hope the Government will direct its works for the citizens in the future. I hope democracy will become perfect. We must thank those people who made this bold step forward. Citizen of Sukhbaatar district T.Bilguun said the main achievement was opening the closed society. “This time is great for we can feel the freedom.
