Established in 1924, the State Departments Store is the largest retail store in Mongolia located in the heart of Ulaanbaatar. The store offers a variety of products and consumer goods for the needs of tourist, visitors and residents of Ulaanbaatar. The store is stocked with everything customers need from personal care products,, to apparel, to home and business products, to electronic goods, bedding, luggage, to traditional Mongolian antiques and souvenirs and more. In addition, the State Department Store includes a fast food restaurant, and photographer, barber shop, banking service, currency exchange, mobile phone, laundry, and watch repair centers.

Nomin Holding is the parent company of the State Department Store. It
is the biggest brand in Mongolia’s commercial, economic, and business
spheres. Nomin Holding Co. Ltd has its 13 daughter companies in sectors
such as wholesale and retail network, carpet industry, financial and
insurance service, and tourism.
Nomin Holdings owns 75% of the former state-owned State Department Store and re-launched first and the biggest department store in Mongolia.
