Established on November 29, 2006 Tuul Songino Water Resource JSC aims to bring numerous developments into the energy and infrastructure sectors in Ulaanbaatar. The company maintains three basic projects which include “Underground Water Supply of Ulaanbaatar City,” “Waste Water Treatment Facility,” as well as “Pumped Storage Power Station.”

On April 4, 2007, the company changed its organizational form from Limited Liability Company into Joint Stock Company and 24,000,000 common stocks were approved for listing on the Mongolia Stock Exchange. The company aimed to fund its underlying two projects through its IPO trading. Currently, the main shareholders of the company are from the USA, Uzbekistan and Germany. 

With funds obtained through the company’s first IPO, Tuul Songino has begun two of its water treatment projects. The company is cooperating with Mongolian government organizations and China Shanghai (Group) Corporation For Foreign Economic & Technological Cooperation (SFECO), SHANGHAI URBAN CONSTRUCTION DESIGN & RESEARCH INSTITUTE,   Mitsubishi UFJ Securities Co., Ltd, Eurasia Capital Management, in order to ensure project success.

The company has been selling public shares since April 13, 2007, with the initial price of 100 MNT per 1 unit of stock. The 87.2% of its total issues are open to public and remaining 12.8 % are closed.
